Could We The people Get A Word In Here?

Excuse us kind government, our nation's birth and history suggests that we the people didn't ask for the present state of political affairs.

We didn't ask to be forced to buy corporate based health insurance (with all due respect this doesn't seem to be just another tax).

Or, for endless wars and the endless Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that goes with them.

We didn't ask for a totally deregulated banking system that joined investment and commercial banking and gave us (surprise) "too big to fail" and now too rich and powerful to regulate.

Or, the IRS to reign in mushrooming "conservative" groups.

We didn't ask for NSA domestic telephone tracking under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Or, the justice department to spy on journalists.

Excuse us dear government, could we get a conversational word in here?

It's time for a responsive representative government to restore the good functioning of our government to "we the people" who are kind of paying attention of late.
